Evolution of PAPILLON Biometric Terminals: from computers to smartphones

DPP mobile biometric terminals are used by law enforcement agencies. Their main application is instant identity checks in real time.

The product has gone through several versions in its history — from futuristic DPP-1, which processed only fingerprints, to multifunctional DPP-8, from a small-sized computer to a light smartphone.

With each new version, the device decreased in size and increased its functionality.
