PAPILLON will supply 430 fingerprint scanners to India

Russian fingerprint systems produced by PAPILLON have allowed India to abandon the outdated ink technology of taking fingerprints.

PAPILLON AO has signed another contract for the supply of 430 fingerprint scanners for further development of the Russian automated finger and palm print identification system (APFIS) to Telangana Police.

Russian fingerprint systems have allowed the Telangana state to become an advanced Indian region. The state is widely introducing technologies of express identification of individuals by fingerprints based on DPP-7p terminals and equipping police patrol cars with new equipment.

«As of today, about 300 finger and palm print scanners, more than 1,500 single-finger scanners for rapid identification of individuals, more than 220 mobile biometric terminals and other PAPILLON forensic equipment have been delivered to India,» the representative of the press service of the Russian Export Center said.
